AGM
As per the RAA Cooperative Rules, the RAA must hold a general meeting of the shareholders once every financial year within six months of its end. This meeting should be specified as the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the notice calling it.
The business of an AGM should include:
- Receipt of accounts, balance sheet, and reports of the Board and Auditor.
- Appointment of an Auditor, if required.
- Election of the Board or the results of the election if held previously by ballot.
- Application of profits.
- Transaction of any other business included in the notice convening the meeting.
- Annual Report.
- Policy changes.
